The demographic distribution shows high ownership rates across various age groups, with 97% of adults aged 18-29 and 97% of those aged 30-49 owning smartphones. Ownership slightly declines with age, with 89% of those aged 50-64 and 76% of those 65 and older owning smartphones​ (Pew Research Center)​.
